CONFLICT ZONE is a collection of images from the front lines
of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, captured by some of the
world's leading combat photographers and journalists.
JED CONKLIN began pursuing photography while studying at Western Kentucky University where he received a bachelor's degree in photojournalism and print journalism. In 2007 Conklin started Jed Conklin Photography. In 2010, Conklin was on assignment or working on personal projects in Mexico, Morocco, Paris, China and Iraq. Conklin also photographed the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Conklin has been recognized in several photojournalism competitions, including Pictures of the Year International and The Best of Photojournalism where he won third place photographer of the year in 2006.
